UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Most people when they hear the phrase "Under The Influence" relate it directly to being drunk or on drugs, my definition is far from that definition. For from infancy to adulthood we are constantly barraged by phenomena that place us under the influence not of drugs or alcohol but condition into a delusional state under the influence of ideas. thus we all , all of our lives under the influence of ideas. In this state that hides itself we in most cases never realize the system that has seduced us and causes us to act out others wills. We continually spend whole lifetimes never realizing or awakening to the fact that our freewill is weak and our conditioned delusional state very strongly holding us. Young people are especially effected for they go along with all the latest fads and music, dressing as if they might be shunned if one blue jean hole is missing or their trousers not baggy enough. Later as older adults we must try and get a hold on the ideas and systems of thought that drive us and begin a program of deprogramming ourselves existing in a new way of being that hopefully will extricate ourselves somewhat from a deep and an almost inextricable slave state. To awaken, to come out of it, to let go, to forgive, to forget, these are dynamics that allow us a bit of freedom before death. Men are especially failures at understanding themselves or ever realizing their true state and in that failure, they fail the world. Everywhere one looks there are men war mongering against other men's war machines, for their ego state of entrapment is real and especially true is the reality for all of us that a true delusional state exists in all of us no matter the gender. We must try and awaken.

The first "Know Thyself" was a saying used by Socrates to teach. This saying helps one to understand their own personality and character traits so that one might be able to reform those negative traits.

The second, "Know Thy Thoughts" denotes a process of being able to observe ones thoughts as they are unfolding and how those thoughts mold one's actions.

The third "Know Thy World" is a journey of discovery of worldly things. We should endeavor to discover those systems that control us through a systemized state of debasement.

In the end we must expose and reveal truth, so we might speak for freedom, a freedom built up by a belief in God, humbling oneself, bending thy knee to a higher power and redirecting of one's soul in a new direction where worldly things are unimportant and Godly things the only path, the only way, the only direction.
